On Friday the 38-year-old actor returned to the set of his hit series NCIS and on Saturday he went to a charity event in the Culver City neighborhood.

Wilmer supported the Kind Los Angeles: Coming Together For Children Alone event at Helms Design Center – a fund raiser for unaccompanied immigrant and refugee children.
Kind staff and pro bono attorney partners at law firms, corporations, and law schools nationwide represent the children in their deportation proceedings to ensure that no child stands in court alone.
The event likely helped to take the star’s mind off Demi, 25, whom he was with from 2010 to 2016.
Wilmer has been spending ‘hours’ every day at Cedars-Sinai with the Sorry Not Sorry singer.
She has reportedly been experiencing complications, including ‘nausea, vomiting and a high fever’ according to sources.
Demi and Wilmer have remained close since their split and he has been making daily visits to support her.
One of her bodyguards revived ‘unconscious’ Demi with the opiate antidote Narcan at the $8.3 million, four-bedroom Hollywood Hills mansion she bought in 2016.
